The first is that total of all categories is more than the maximum score a player can get for appearance. This will allow folks who are strong in some areas, but not all areas, to still be able to achieve a maximum score towards their overall total.
The second change is that the judge's final score does not impact the a player's appearance score and will only be used to determine the winner of the Best Appearance award in the case of a tie.
