Warhammer Fantasy Sportsmanship Card

This year's sportsmanship card is slightly different from the prior years as it contains two sections.  The first section is a simple checklist of goals that each player should achieve to be considered a good sportsman.  The second section is the traditional ranking questions that has been done in prior years.

Invasion Kenosha will be hosting 40k 6th edition open gaming on Friday, July 13th, 2012. The purpose of this evening is to give participants a chance to play organized games of 6th edition and become familiar with the new rules. The evening will use the 6th edition rules 'out of the box', meaning that unless something is specifically mentioned as optional, it can be used for this event. The evening will also allow Forgeworld units that have been designated as approved for 40K in their respective rulebook.

Painting will not be required for the evening, but is strongly encouraged.

Appearance Scorecard Version 1.2

The Invasion Kenosha IV scorecard has been revised.  The revision has removed a couple of questions and reduced the maximum point total for the appearance portion of the tournament.

Practice Scenario #1 (Version 1.2)

The first practice scenario has been revised. The major change is the reduction is battle points for the scenario (going from a maximum of 30 to 20). I will be posting a revision to the pod rules shortly to explain how the system will work and how tie breakers are determined.

New Award Announced

A new award has been added to this year's Invasion Kenosha!

The Avatar of Invasion Award - The single best painted model from Avatars of War at the event.  The model does not need to be included in a player's army, but it must be painted by the player and can only contain slight conversion work.  (Note: Winning the Avatar of Invasion Award does not exclude a player from winning other awards.)

Invasion Kenosha IV Swagbag Announcement

Invasion Kenosha is very proud to announce that Avatars of War is back for a third year!  Everyone participating in the WFB tournament will receive a random Avatars of War figure as part of their swag bag.  Thank you to everyone at AoW for continuing to make the Invasion swag bag so memorable.

Early Registration - Last Day

Today is the last day to participate in early registration.  Starting tomorrow, May 1st, the cost of entry goes up to $25.00 for this year's Invasion Kenosha. 

Monstrous Arcana

Warhammer Forge has released Monstrous Arcana!  The new book has some nice rules on how to incorporate monstrous units from Storm of Magic, Tamurkhan and Monstrous Arcana into the standard army lists.  I am still reviewing the book, but anticipate using the rules unless I find something major.  Expect an update in a couple of weeks.
