It took longer than I expected, but finally someone has asked the question of whether or not Invasion will allow Warhammer Forge units. The short answer is yes as a long as they meet the composition requirements of the tournament. The long answer is that my decision is based on the current playtest rules posted on the Forgeworld site. Assuming the new book is released before Invasion, the final version of the rules in the book will be used and not the playtest version. This means anyone wishing to play with the new units must bring a copy of the current rules. If anyone needs further clarification, please email me at equinox999equinox@yahoo.com.
Update (04/13/2011): Any units using Warhammer Forge rules must be represented by the actual Warhammer Forge models/conversion bitz. (i.e. If someone wants to use Sayl the Faithless and Nightmaw the Spawn, they must use the models from Warhammer Forge. Those models can be converted, but any conversion must clearly use the original model.)
