Invasion Kenosha IV Update
Friday 1600 point Storm of Magic Tournament (3 rounds, 8 player flights)
Saturday 2000 point Singles Tournament (4 rounds)
Sunday 2400 point Team Tournament (3 rounds, 2 players per team, 1200 points per player, no lords)
Entry Costs
The price of everything is rising and as much as I hate to raise the cost of entry, I believe I will need to do such for next year. As of right now, I am estimating this would be the cost for entry into each tournament.
1600 Point Storm of Magic Tournament - $10.00 per player
2000 Point Standard Tournament - $20.00 per player
2400 Point Team Tournament - $30.00 per team
All Weekend Pass - $40.00 per player (includes entry into all three tournaments)
As always, I am open to ideas and feedback. I am looking to announce the official schedule and registration dates in late December, so there is still plenty of time to become involved and have a voice in making Invasion Kenosha IV the best convention in Southeast Wisconsin.

Waaagh Cast - Episode 63
Show notes:
1. Sponsorship : Gryfalia's Aerie, Capital City Games and Chris Mullins
2. News/Rumors/Feature : Storm of Magic Pre-order, Black Library, Warhammer Forge, Avatars of War and Far Future
3. Feature : Storm of Magic Rules Overview
We as always throw out our wonderful Sponsors first, Gryfalia's and CCG as well as our singular sponsor Paul. We just want to let you know how much we appreciate all our listeners and sponsors. We cover a pretty quick hit of our weeks in Warhammer which weren't completely eventful. We do cover my first game of Storm of Magic with the Dwarf's Vs. Brettonians. Decidedly SoM is a very interesting expansion to Warhammer. We push through the News/Rumors covering a couple of Black Library Novels, the new Dread Quake Mortar from Forge World, strange scuttlebutt about Blood Bowl a quick note about the latest F.A.Q.'s and finally a lengthy interview with Alex Gonzalez the tournament organizer of Core Competency.
For our feature segment we delve into the Storm of Magic expansion for Warhammer. We cover most of the ground rules for what is involved with the game and the basic SoM scenario. We go through the new special miscast table for SoM. We also take a touch on a number of the magic items and discuss a bit of our thoughts on the Bestiary section and why exactly it excites us to play this game.
Black Library Novels:
Nagash Immortal
Hour of Shadow
Warhammer Forge: Dread Quake Mortar
Dread Quake Mortar
Warhammer F.A.Q.: Tomb Kings and Lizardmen

Local Tournament Info segment brought to you by Circle City Circuit.
Thanks to Chris Yu for letting us use his basement for recording this episode during a game night!
So here’s Episode 25, about a week late. Sorry, but the end of the school year makes for some crazy schedules. Speaking of which, Episode 26/27 are due out June 10/24, but we will be recording them on those days, so they will be a few days behind, but July should see us getting back on schedule.
So what are we doing this Episode? We tried to have a game night with constant battle reports and games in the background, but it didn’t quite happen that way. What wound up happening was, most of our gaming group was there and we all started talking about what we are doing lately. Seeing as before we were all rather focused on our Mighty Empires Campaign, that was pretty much the stock answer. Now that the final games of the campaign have been played and our next Campaign won’t start up again until the end of July, everyone wanted to talk about whatever they were pulling off the back burner. Summer is coming and most of NW2 have summer hobby plans.
So what does this mean for the show? Well, there is the typical “news and rumors,” and there are some “immediately after the game” battle reports, but then it kind of becomes a bunch of hobby talk. It’s kind of like a Pointhammered paint night, but without all the painting. Anyway, The last hour and a half or so was recorded later at the Crypt and that’s the closest thing to an actual topic that you are going to find. Anyway, I left most of this Episode intact because as I listened, there wasn’t any dead or useless air. The topic just meanders all around the hobby and, in my humble opinion, made for an interesting slice of the overall hobby in our group.
And stay tuned after the episode for more silliness.

Official 2011 Sponsor: Privateer Press

Now that we are sponsored by Privateer Press, Invasion Kenosha would like to find out if the community would like to see a Warmachines/Hordes tournament on Friday night. Currently, we can host an event from 5 pm - 11 pm on Friday, July 22nd. The other option may be to host a day long event on Sunday, July 24th, though we need to check if the hall is available. Keeping with the theme of Invasion, either day would be a one day event and games would consist of small to medium size armies (~35 pts) that are fully painted.
Regardless of which day is selected, we will be adding a Privateer Press category to the Golden Stein and will be adding demo games to the Saturday schedule soon.
We need your feedback! If you are interested, please post in the comments section of this thread or email me at equinox999equinox@yahoo.com. We are hoping to make a decision by May 20th and have an official announcement by May 23rd.

Center Stage Miniatures - New Forums and Website

TELL US WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE - VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITE AND FORUMS AT WWW.CENTERSTAGEMINIS.COM
As we prepare for summer and a large number of new releases, we're asking our customers to stop by and tell us what kind of miniatures you'd like to see produced throughout the rest of the year.
It's important for us to be making the kinds of figures you need to have on your gaming table, and our forums will be a critical part of making this happen. Two of our future releases - the Molydeus and Glacial Wyrm - were commissioned as a direct result of customer feedback and are available at a reduced price for pre-order now.
The plan is to double our product offerings by the end of 2011 - and with your help, the majority of those releases will be customer requests. We are working to come up with some kind of discount program for (regular) forum contributors as well.
Look forward to seeing you on the boards, and thanks in advance for your help and continued support of old-school miniature gaming.
Best,
Matt S.

So here’s Episode 22. Sorry we are a few days late with it. This episode, we talk a bit about the Tomb Kings preorder, and then it’s on to our discussion of almost 2 dozen games we played at Adepticon and in our Mighty Empires Campaign! We also talk about the many things we saw and did other than gaming there.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone we met and talked to and played with/against at Adepticon. It was one of the best times we ever had gaming and we can’t wait for next year.
